Orthopedic Insoles help with support!

An Orthopedic Insole is a medical device used to support, align, prevent, or correct deformities or to improve the function and mobility of the body.

Insoles typically refer to custom-made foot orthoses that are worn in a person’s shoe. Orthotic insoles are also designed to relieve pain when the client feels discomfort.

What is the procedure?

Our Orthotic insoles are custom made. This means that each insole made for a client will fit no one else but them. We utilize 2 different methods in order to get the right diagnosis and the right fit.

First, by using GAITSCAN technologies, we can assess the client’s foot mechanics. Whether or not you pronate (roll inwards) or supinate (roll outwards) or areas of high pressure, your GAITSCAN will tell us all.

Followed up with a VERISCAN PODIATRIC SCANNER (VPS). Utilizing red line-laser 3D-imaging techniques, the VeriScan Podiatric Scanner quickly and accurately captures a true-dimension digital cast of the human foot. In tandem with Envisic’s software, the VeriScan can complete and process a scan in seven seconds and send it along to the lab in another five seconds.

Orthopedic Braces and Splints

Orthopedic braces and orthopedic splints protect, stabilize, support and correct injuries or abnormal alignment through the process of rehabilitation and recovery. They are used in injury rehabilitation, injury prevention, osteoarthritic care, post-operative care and more.

We will recommend the best product for you based on the assessment done.

Compression Hosiery

Help and assist in moving blood flow from the ankle, up to the calves and then back to the heart.

The concept of compression therapy lies in a simple and efficient mechanical principle: the application of an elastic garment around the leg. By compressing the limb with graduated compression – strongest at the ankle and decreasing going up the leg – the compression stocking helps the venous return, decreases venous pressure, prevents venous stasis and deterioration of venous walls, and efficiently relieves aching and heavy legs by aiding the body in moving blood up the leg against the pull of gravity.

This treatment is prescribed by a physician to treat phlebitis, thrombosis, and aftercare following surgery, sclerotherapy and any other forms of varicose vein treatment, and also to relieve all conditions of chronic venous disease (heavy legs, varicose veins, oedemas, leg ulcers). It can also be prescribed to prevent venous issues during pregnancy and long-distance travel.
